Getting Started

Kickoff, targeting alignment, and getting your team live in Satua.

Satua is a B2B lead management, CRM, and outreach workspace built around records your organization owns or is authorized to use. Satua is not a lead broker and does not sell lead lists. The platform helps your team organize contacts and companies, assign work, track every touchpoint, run optional your connected data pipelines, and send AI-assisted outreach from your verified domain.

Fast Start Path

Step 1: Access your workspace

Sign in at your account subdomain.

  • Admin - manage team access, account settings, data connections, email domain setup, and reporting permissions.
  • Manager - manage day-to-day operations, pipelines, requests, and team workflow.
  • User - work assigned leads, log touchpoints, update statuses, and send approved outreach.

Step 2: Bring your lead data

your account can work records from several authorized sources:

  • CSV import - upload a spreadsheet, existing CRM export, event list, or other lead list your organization is allowed to process.
  • Manual entry - add leads one at a time directly in the dashboard.
  • Account-owned data connection - connect your organization's supported provider account in Settings -> Data Connections if your team wants pipeline automation.

CSV and manual entry are enough to use Satua as a CRM. Data connections are only required for automated pipelines.

Step 3: Set up the CRM workspace

Go to Dashboard and confirm your team can:

  • Find leads in table or grid view.
  • Assign owners.
  • Update status, priority, and temperature.
  • Save useful views, such as "My Leads" or "Follow-up Due."
  • Open the lead detail panel and log a first touchpoint.

If the Companies feature is enabled, open Companies to review account grouping, account managers, and company lifecycle status.

Step 4: Optional - create your first pipeline

Go to Pipelines. Pipeline creation is available to admins and managers after:

  • your account acknowledges the Satua DPA summary.
  • At least one data connection is saved with a connected status.
  • The relevant provider terms have been acknowledged in-product.

Create a pipeline by describing your ideal customer in plain English, choosing a connected provider, and setting schedule/volume. You can refine targeting later through the pipeline's ICP chat.

Step 5: Verify email domain

Go to Settings -> Email & Domain and complete domain verification.

Then send an internal test from a lead profile before launching external outreach.

Step 6: Invite the team

Go to Settings -> Team to invite users, approve pending access, and assign roles. Confirm request access and reporting access separately when those features are enabled for your account.

First-Day Validation Checklist

  • Leads visible in dashboard from CSV, manual entry, or an authorized data connection
  • Saved views and filters work for your team
  • Owners, statuses, priority, temperature, tags, and follow-up dates are usable
  • Company grouping reviewed if the Companies feature is enabled
  • Email domain verified before external sends
  • Test outreach sent successfully to an internal inbox
  • Optional pipeline: DPA acknowledged, provider connected, first run completed, and inserted records reviewed

What Satua Is Responsible For

What Happens After Launch

Once the first workflow checks pass:

  • Team members work leads in dashboard and company views.
  • Managers track throughput and quality with reporting.
  • Requests keep ICP, support, and event-intelligence conversations in one place.
  • Optional pipelines continue on the configured cadence.
  • Email engagement, suppressions, comments, and activity history roll back into the lead and company record.
